“Recursion” is short narrative that focuses on one woman’s perspective of losing her apartment to gentrification. The project uses several forms of Mixed Media including video, broadcast design and photography. During the summer of 2005 I met a young woman living in Harlem, who became my inspiration for the narrative. My goal was to make a satirical spin on those true events in an analytical and humorous context.
